Blog photoshop text practice

This is the "make-up" of my text practice.
I am changing my capstone focus to be on the rising tuition rates in Texas. My focus is how less middle class Americans, who were once able to pay for college, are not able to pay as before.

My multimedia part of this project is most likely going to be an informative-interactive website.

Color palette

This might be the color palette for my website.

Look of website.

If I were to design a website for my capstone. It would have an overall formal theme. Easy to navigate and move around the website. And the fonts would be sans-serif with a warm tone while the background will be a lighter color.

Statement of intent.

My Capstone project is based of the idea that the miscommunication between doctors and nurses causes a major problem for their patients and certain things may not get diagnoses correctly or a patient will not get proper treatment due to the nurse not following what the doctor tells them to do out of spite; as well as vice-versa with the doctors not listening to the nurse’s requests due to the doctor believing that the nurse is not qualified to tell the doctor what to do.

I plan on making a series of activities based on the way a business is run. Business’ focus on the team as a whole and a cohesive unit acting towards a common goal, whereas in the medical field there is so much going on some of the people working may not know what to do. Another problem is doctors not responding to the pages from nurses about their patients. A patient may go into cardiac arrest and the nurse knows just what to do to save the person’s life but is not able to do it without a doctor present. I aim to focus on this problem and finding a solution.

I will also produce a brochure for the public to raise awareness of this problem, not aimed at scaring people away from hospitals, but it will provide needed information to make the people feel safe and confident that he or she will be taken care of as if they were the only person in the hospital.
